Carli Herrs, Studio Director
Carli studied Pilates and anatomy at Bodycenter Studios in Seattle, earned her STOTT PILATES Instructor Certification in 2005, and continues to evolve her understanding of the Pilates method through advanced training and personal study. She has been a dedicated student at the Goju Karate Center in Kent, WA since 2001, and has led classes for adults and children, as well as classes in women's self defense. Carli taught Pilates group mat classes and private sessions at the GKC from 2005 through 2008.

Carli enjoys finding the endless ways in which Pilates can be adapted to enhance any body, and believes that the beauty of this method lies in that it is meant only to benefit the body, without the muscular imbalances, injuries and joint stress so many other activities can bring. She is grateful for the opportunity to guide people in understanding how their body moves, learning to own and improve that movement, and gradually re-connecting the mind, body and spirit.
