Suzan has worked with all kinds of bodies young and old, infirm and athletic for 25 years. It started with dance as a child, and in college. After settling down with a family, she began to do yoga to stay in shape. Raising a family as a nurse and scout leader, yoga and dance got pushed to the side, but meditation practice became the priority. In 1995 she made the commitment to do yoga everyday. In 2000 she studied with BKS Iyengar protegy Aadil Palkhivala (Yoga Centers, Bellevue WA) and learned the rest of yoga’s real depth besides asana, while immersed in asana, pranyama and dhyanam (meditation). Searching for Therapeutics - the need to share healing energy - she discovered Integrative Yoga Therapy with Joseph Le Page.
Suzan began teaching yoga in dance studios and then went to the Auburn Valley YMCA in 2003. She also studied physical therapy and became a PTA for a couple years working as the Therapy Director for a local home for survivors of Traumatic Brain Injury. Choosing massage over PT, she got her license, and worked as an LMP/Yoga Teacher at the YMCA. Suzan developed successful Yoga and Massage programs there, including workshops and teacher training. She now also teaches Kinesiology at Northwest Academy of Healing Arts. Suzan is Certified in Reflexology, Reiki, and Aromatherapy, as well as Myoskeletal Alignment. Her continuing passion is Yoga Sun which seeks to bring balance to all aspects of life.
To schedule an appointment with Suzan call 425-785-8236, or schedule online at schedulicity.com (type in Yoga Sun). |

Erin began her journey with yoga in 2001 at a local community college thinking it would be an easy PE credit, but it turned out to be much more. Yoga has taught Erin to honor the body and the world around. She encourages students to let go of any expectations or judgment in order to fulfill the mind/body experience. Her teaching style is fun-loving and a compassionate blend of Hatha flow. Her classes help to balance strength, flexibility, and relaxation for every age and any fitness level.
Although she is a talented teacher, she still considers herself a student and is eager to continually grow in her own practice. Visit her website for more information. |
