Pilates for Beginners For new and returning Pilates students! Starting with the principals of core fundamentals, proper body alignment and breath awareness, we will move into learning the essential Pilates mat exercises. With this series you will improve core strength and stability, challenge yourself at your own pace and see improvement in your overall strength and flexibility. All levels are welcome in this fun and invigorating class!

Pilates Mat 1 Series Class Once you have mastered the basics, you'll be ready to add more variety and challenge. This class offers both. We will include some intermediate exercises and often some small equipment to offer additional challenge. No class is ever the same. See what is in store as you move to a new level of awareness and core strength!

Pilates w/Small Equipment Series Class Take your Pilates workout to the next level! The small equipment will add resistance to tone and sculpt your upper and lower body while enhancing and challenging core strength. Classes may include balls, bosu, bands, rings, weighted toning balls and foam rollers.

Pilates for Osteoporosis Series Class Fight back! Research has proven that load bearing exercises can increase bone density and even reverse osteoporosis, and Pilates has been identified as an outstanding choice. In this safe and gentle class, you'll learn the basic principles of Pilates, which will help you align your spine and joints properly and support that alignment with your core. We'll practice applying those principles with exercises chosen to increase bone density at common fracture sites, as well as working on posture and balance to prevent debilitating falls.

Power Yoga Series Class Participants flow seamlessly from one pose to another with the breath, focusing equally on balance, strength and flexibility. Suitable for all levels. Postures can be adapted to meet the individual's needs.

Beginners Yoga & Meditation Series Class Make the mind-body connection with a popular style of yoga called vinyasa flow. Learn basic asana (postures) coordinated with the breath. Explore pranayama (breathwork) and basic relaxation techniques. This series class will meet once-weekly to quickly build a personal yoga practice. Classes will focus on alignment and mindful movement in a safe, fun environment. Suitable for the beginning student or those who would like to return to a practice.

Intermediate Yoga Series Class Practice and refine basic asana (postures) coordinated with the breath. Learn pranayama techniques (breathwork), basic meditation, and chanting, set to unique world music rhythms. This series class meets once-weekly to quickly build a personal yoga practice. Suitable for beginners who have had some experience with yoga. Challenging postures will be offered and can be modified for beginners.

Introduction to Meditation Workshop
If you've been thinking about it but don't know where to start, this workshop is for you. Join Lorri in a non-dogmatic, general workshop setting to learn about this powerful tool for relaxation, focus, and well-being. In this workshop you will enjoy a brief lecture about several forms of meditation, learn gentle yoga movement and breath-work techniques to prepare the body for meditation, and then work with Lorri as she presents a guided meditation allowing for your own individual meditative experience. In conclusion, there will be time for discussion. No prior meditation experience or special equipment is necessary.
